Groot the Pig needs a home
Groot is a 3 month old pot bellied pig looking for his forever home. Groot is used to living indoors, so we are looking for a home that would allow him to be a "house pig." He is good with the dogs and cats. He is crate trained and is used to being crated while his foster mom is at work. We were told he is litter box trained, but also loves to spend time outside. A fenced-in yard is a must, as Groot will wander as he gets older - and he does not walk on a harness or leash, they scare him quite a bit! He is still very young so it is possible that he can be trained on a harness. He is a very well behaved pig, but pig experience is required to adopt him, as he is plenty mischievous when left to his own devices. Groot is a little guy now, but pigs do not stop growing until they are 5 or 6 years old, so potential adopters should be prepared that he may grow very large even though he is a small breed pig.
